For Black women and women of color, there's often another layer: the expectation to stay strong while your own pain goes unseen. Counseling is a place where you don't have to be strong.

Do you see couples or only individuals?
Both. Kimberly works with individuals and couples at every stage, from testing and IVF to loss, adoption, or deciding to stop treatment.
Do I have to be in treatment right now?
No. Some clients come while trying, some after a loss, and some after deciding to stop treatment or explore other paths.
Is this only for women of color?
No. Kimberly works with all individuals and couples, and has a special commitment to Black women and women of color.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept Aetna, Highmark Delaware commercial plans, and Delaware Medicaid plans, including Highmark Health Options, AmeriHealth Caritas Delaware, and Delaware First Health. There is no cost to you with Delaware Medicaid. We confirm your benefits before scheduling.
Can I meet online?
Yes. Online sessions are available for clients located in Delaware or Maryland. In-person sessions are at our Newark office.
