About Dr. Wynn

Do you spend most of your time showing up for everyone else? When was the last time you showed up for yourself?

As women, we often carry so much. We're expected to be strong, resilient, dependable, and capable of handling whatever life throws our way. For women of color, these expectations can come with additional pressures, cultural expectations, and experiences that aren't always seen or understood. Somewhere between caring for others, managing responsibilities, navigating relationships, and pursuing success, it's easy to lose sight of our own needs.

I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive space where women of color can put themselves first without guilt. I believe you can be strong and still need support. You can be successful and still struggle. You can love the people in your life and still need boundaries. Most importantly, you deserve a space where you don't have to carry everything alone.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in understanding the unique experiences that shape who you are. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the expectations placed on you, my goal is to help you gain clarity, reconnect with yourself, and develop the tools needed to move forward.

I believe therapy is not just about addressing challenges. It's also about discovering who you are beyond the roles you fulfill, challenging patterns that no longer serve you, learning to establish healthy boundaries, and giving yourself permission to prioritize your own emotional well-being.

You deserve to be supported, not just be the support. You deserve peace, not just the ability to push through. And you deserve a life where your needs matter, too.
