Giving so much, and getting so little back

Maybe you found out about an affair. Maybe your marriage is ending, or it’s stuck. Maybe you’ve stepped back from a parent or sibling and the guilt won’t let up. Or maybe nothing dramatic happened. You’re just tired of being the one who holds everyone together.

Relationship pain often connects to something older: the role you played growing up, the rules nobody said out loud, the belief that your needs come last.

We can help with

  • Infidelity and betrayal
  • Separation and divorce
  • Family conflict and estrangement
  • People-pleasing and saying yes when you mean no
  • Repeating the same patterns with partners
  • Self-worth and boundaries that hold
How therapy helps

Understanding your patterns, and changing them

Your therapist will help you make sense of what happened and how it still shows up for you. You’ll look at your attachment style, the beliefs you picked up as a girl, and what you want next. Then you’ll practice putting your boundaries into words until they feel like yours.

Getting married? We offer pre-marital counseling for couples who want to talk through expectations, communication, family, and money before the wedding. Ask us about cost and coverage when you reach out.

Going through infertility as a couple? Kimberly Glenn works with couples through treatment and loss.

Questions

Before you reach out

Do you offer couples or pre-marital counseling?

We offer pre-marital counseling for couples preparing for marriage. Most of our relationship work is individual therapy, where your therapist works with you on what's happening and what you want next.

Can you help if I've stepped back from my family?

Yes. Nicole Cunningham works with women who've pulled away from a parent or sibling and still carry guilt about it.

Do I have to decide whether to stay or leave first?

No. Many women start therapy unsure. Therapy can help you get clear on what you want.

Do you take my insurance?

We accept Aetna, Highmark Delaware commercial plans, and Delaware Medicaid plans, including Highmark Health Options, AmeriHealth Caritas Delaware, and Delaware First Health. There is no cost to you with Delaware Medicaid. We confirm your benefits before scheduling.

Do you offer evening appointments?

Yes. We offer evening appointments so therapy can fit around work and family.

You have carried enough on your own.

Take the first small step. We will help you find the next right one.
