About Jessica

You learned early how to keep the peace. Maybe you were the responsible one in your family, the kid who didn't ask for much. That habit got you a long way. These days it shows up in places you never invited it, like saying yes when you mean no, or feeling guilty the second you ask for something.

Jessica Johnson works with women who are tired of carrying everything. She's most interested in how what happened growing up shapes what's happening now. That includes the family rules nobody said out loud and the pressure to always be the strong one, which she sees a lot in her work with Black women and other women of color.

Many of her clients come in because of a relationship. Some keep picking partners who can't show up for them. Others get anxious the minute someone pulls away. Jessica helps you make sense of your attachment style and practice setting boundaries without the guilt spiral that usually follows.

Sessions with Jessica feel like a conversation. She's warm and collaborative, and she'll gently question the beliefs you picked up as a kid that don't fit your life anymore. You'll leave with coping skills you can use between sessions.

She also walks with women through anxiety, depression, grief, and big life changes. If you've spent years holding it together for everyone else, her sessions are a place to set some of that down.
